Now, should you treat the symptoms, they will simply come back, with time. You need to know how to run proper diagnostics such that you treat the root cause of the problem.
You do not know everything. You need to keep learning and to keep yourself motivated. The nature of the complexities in IT issues should motivate you to keep learning. The solutions to these problems keep changing with time. IT is also evolutionary and therefore the solutions keep changing with time. No IT consultant can survive in this trade without learning. Every problem that you solve will be a learning experience; every project that you complete should build your portfolio and reputation.
